Hey Ace_Frahm, thanks for your comment. I do understand the frustration of the weapon change because it gets overheated. To keep shooting with the same weapon you need to cool it down, this means getting the little diamonds power-ups. This way I normally can almost finish one wave with the same weapon. Hope this will change your opinion.
And also try to keep a finger on the "change weapon" button or C if you play from the keyboard, this way you can rotate weapons easily when needed.

This is awesome! Love the level of polish you were able to add here, small things like the space background moving faster between scene transitions! I loved the feeling of the triple barrel weapon 😆
Hey Aycorn, thanks a lot for your nice comment. I tried to polish as much as PICO-8 allowed me, there might be more room in the future when I'll learn to optimize my code :) thanks!

It's really bad that my weapon keeps changing to bad ones I hate for no reason.
